05.25.05 » Story

Much like its namesake, the Siberia
Colony was not a place one would like to visit.
Problems plaguing it’s mirror arrays from the
start kept the colony at frigid temperatures.
Due to this it was first converted to a nature
reserve for arctic wildlife and later a test facility
for cold weather warfare. It’s final purpose was
what most remember it for.

The Earth Federation had converted
the colony to serve as a storehouse for political
prisoners and their families. These prisoners
were allowed to roam the colony as if it were
their home, but were placed under a strict martial
law style of living. These prisoners were at first
Zeon remnants and later captured AEUG forces.
When the Titans gained control of the colony during
the Gryps Conflict the restrictions placed upon
the populous grew. This led to the formation of
small resistance cells. These cells gathered materials,
weapons and intelligence in order to eventually
overthrow the Titans control. They were further
assisted by infiltrating Neo-Zeon forces.

After the defeat of the Titans,
Siberia became a regrouping point for surviving
Titan forces. At this chaotic point the resistance
had decided to strike and rid their home of the
Titans. All at once Titan bases and facilities
erupted in explosions. In the distance, mobile
suits emerged from their concealment. The time
for revolution had at last come.

01.27.06» Concepts

The Sazabi looked like it would
make for a great cold-war-styled MS. The scheme
is that of decay. I want a dirty-weathered look
to this suit with chipped/obscured decals and
such. I’ll be able to use a lot of the techniques
I learned from the KV-2 Krote and SAFS on this
piece. The decals are done in several russian-styles
fonts that I found.

I’ll be using a Rick Dom beam cannon
for this build and adding some extra details to
the Saz.
