SD Ryuubi Gundam (BB Senshi Sangokuden series kit)

Good day. This kit was done OOTB with all the hollow parts filled. Tamiya masking tape was used to mask all the parts. Stock sticker was used for the eyepiece

Color guide (All paints are GSI Creos' Mr. Color):

White--
----Base coat: Surfacer gray (80%)+ Black (20%)
----Highlight: White (100%)

Blue--
----Base coat: Black (100%)
----Highlight: Character blue (100%)

Red--
----Base coat: Black (100%)
----Highlight: Shine red (100%)

Gold: Gold (100%)

Silver--
---Base coat: Black (100%)
---Silver coat: Super silver (100%)

Metallic red: Super silver (60%) + Clear red (40%)

Metallic blue: Super silver (60%) + Clear blue (40%)

Metallic black: Metal black (100%)

As much as I dislike the general appearance of those knightly SDs, you really pulled this one off. Looks very nice. I'm sure the masking was quite a pain in the ass for the gold but looks great!

Why the sticker on such a nice paint job? I gotta second Foo, the SD knights are generally ugly with a few exceptions. Yours is an exception.

i have seen this work personally and it was an eye candy, really topnotch painting and masking techniques (alot of patince must be involve) hands down and the best SD ive seen

Thanks for the comments, guys. I really had a difficult time cutting the masking
tape for each curve... but the end result was worth the effort.

Yeah, the sticker eyepiece wasn't exactly a good thing I did to the kit.. but I entered it in the Mecha Pinoy in-house contest and I need to beat the deadline... how sad

I have to agree with Kinzaa, its one of the best SD/Musha I've seen and it inspired me to buy and build them. I think the sticker eyes was not that bad, for me it complemets the gold parts of the kit, and the application was great too!
