Thanks...yes, the antenna was completely scratchbuilt largely from an Airfix(now Dapol) railway crane and a stand from an Ertl Star Wars kit.

Here's a few shots of my diorama featuring the Moebius (ex-Aurora) Moonbus from 2001.
It's in a featured article in Vol 24 of Sci Fi and Fantasy Modeller this month...

Everything aside from the main parts of the Moonbus is scratchbuilt. I also used the ParaGrafix brass and resin upgrades.

Excellent job, particularly on Spiderman who's a bit of a pain to paint. Love the smoke plume instead of the clear rod...I may have to steal that idea!
My only suggestion to improve things would be to shoot your pictures against a neutral background...I use a large sheet of pastel-coloured card I got from an art shop. :-)

Next time your printer runs out of ink, don't throw the cartridge away...simply dress it up with some bits from the spares box....

Model Gallery / BSG Viper MkII

I've just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself by showing a recent diorama I did for an online group build.
Centered around the Moebius Viper MkII, I used some custom decals to create a machine from the fictional Battlestar Excalibur.
I used the ParaGrafix etched detail set and lit the cockpit and engines using LED's.
The ground equipment is almost entirely scratchbuilt.

The finished diorama featuring ten Vipers at a UK model show....
