This is taking me a lot longer than it should have. /this is going to be an image heavy post.

Most of the frame after I finished painting

Didn't do any fancy mods or anything. Just seamline filling and puttying.


I ran into a problem trying to get the glue out of the seam in the small areas here. Due to the round shape and small size of the recessed area it was difficult for me to use a knife blade to crave it out. I'm sure there was a way to do it but in the end i just ended up putting putty over it.


painted pieces. went a little over board on the shading. still trying to learn how to airbrush

Thanks. I sprayed the eyes with gloss black and then alclad chrome and then clear green. I took some pics of the process

Thanks for the comments and tips!  I don't know why but for some reason a lot of the shading I did on the white isn't coming out in the photos. It pissed me off at first. Like in the first pic I can see the shading on the top of the white part of the shield but I can't see it on the sides even thought the shading on the sides is the same as the top.

I'm definately going to work harder on my next model. I already got started on it.

Here's my first model. Took forever to finish. Mainly due to the numerous mistakes I made and breaking parts etc. I tried to apply a lot of techniques I got from browsing this places and others.
