Thought I'd post it up here for dedicated discussion if necessary.  ^_^ Talked about briefly at Hobby Show '10 last year.

The UCHG Core Fighter is out the end of Feb. Couldn't be more excited about this.

GuNjap has official pics up:

Cool beans... I was starting to think Bandai had forgotten about the UCHG line.
Order custom printed t-shirts at tilluminati.

My only complaint is the tinted canopy. Being able to tint your own (amber, blue) would rock.

I agree, it's a big drawback to an otherwise very nice kit.

I got mine last Friday from www.GundamPlanet.com. I've ordered from them many times before, but recently I found out they have an office in Manhattan so I was able to pick it up after work. This is my first Hard Graph kit. I'm not sure what I'll do about the figures, because I'm not that good at paining them. I'm still very excited about this kit!

Cool! Can't wait to see what you do with them.

When I saw the alternate blue & gray G3 paint scheme and water slide decals for it, I was tempted to buy a second one on the spot. LOL

Got my core fighters today. Awesome! So full of features, not that I'd expect anything less from the UC-HG line. Gonna be hard NOT to start them!

@FF: Your complaint of the canopy not being clear is a reasonable complaint, but with your own talent with modeling these sorts of things, it's almost unbelievable to think that you wouldn't just cast one in clear plastic and be able to do exactly as you please with it.

Anyway, looks like an awesome model, if only my wife would let me buy it now... I kinda have a couple large cardboard boxes full of gunpla that haven't been built yet. Regardless, can't wait to get one of these for myself. Looks like a blast.

Hmm, I think vacuforming might give a more realistic look and thickness to it than casting.

You should count to see how many boxes of shoes or jewlery your wife has. ;-)
