Awesome kit! I'm looking forward to the paint up. The sculpt is excellent and it looks like you got those fixes under control.

Thanks, guys!

@bayu- Now, what do you mean your skill is not good enough? I saw your Deep Striker inprogs and they rule! Can't wait to see it done!  :D

The FSS mat was a freebie from Character Model Magazine from japan in 2004. Wish that mag was still around.

@Blah- I was hoping they'd release some more kit's from G-Breaker. Really unique designs. And yeah, the Impulse 7 is a sharp kit. Stuck my finger last night! Ouch!

I've had this built for a while now and just got around to finishing and priming for it. It's all ready for the paint job now! I believe I'm going to try my luck at a nice metallic/peal paint up....

Here's the in prog photos for now... ^_^

My apologies for going all "kawaii desu yo!", but here's something kinda crazy. Actually kinda excited about it though.

Releasing in Sept via Koto, a 1/1 scale Hoi Hoi San plastic kit from Ichigeki Sacchu!! Hoi Hoi san, (One Shot, Insect Kill).

The kit-

The OVA- Funny as hell, man!
Konami's PS2 game-

I haven't found out who's manufacturing these, so if somebody knows, please PM me.

Oh HELL yeah! Rideback is awesome.

Here is the developers page-

Yeah, I'm telling you...people are sleeping on this guys work! Most of his kits are hobby festivel exclusives and will sell for as much as 16,000 yen on YJA.

Found the links I was looking for in Kevin's post. A little dissapointed by another hardgraph jeep. I was expecting the Zeon Amphibious Personnel Carrier to be next. Already have plans for it! 8)

Hey, didn't Large already scratch-build this thing!?  ???

So, turns out the 1/35 Unicorn is a display only piece? Ngee Khiong has some nice pics from the show too.

And another PG this year? WOW! Damn Bandai! I still need to get me a PG Astray!  Ngee has pics of it I believe. Another RX-78-2.

Model News Feed / Re: Shizuoka Hobby News 2009 - MG Guntank June

Awesome! I was going to ask you to post about this. Excited about the Guntank and the Exia!

Exia will have a special Ed with LED gimmick and S2 repaired cloak and bits apparently.

Yeah, totally stoked about the MG Exia. I like the LED installments they did with the HG 1/100 Gundam OO, so this will be really interesting!

I like the looks of the MG Guntank so far. And the MG Exia looks pretty good too. This may be my first (REAL) MSGOO kit.

EDIT: I hit up my overseas sources for some news. Looks like MG Guntank might be a fall/autumn release. Still in development stages. Confidence is high that this will get a release very soon! Get your preorders ready folks! ^_^

Looks like SRW Hotnews has posted up some photos from Shizuoka Hobby Show 2009.

First up:

MG Guntank - Fall Release? - Development stages
MG Exia - July
HG Gundam 30th Annv- July
HG Unicorn - ??
HG Kshatirya - ??
HGUC Jegan - Aug
HGUC Ewac Zac- ?? Kinda old news I guess. ^_^

Really looking forward to completion of this one, man. The base is turning out to be really quite nice.  8)

So, does plaster of paris come in a gray color or are you just going over that in paint? This stuff seems to be much better than my normal concrete patcher/re-surfacer.

Sweet! It's busy, but in a cool, Motoo Osumi sort of way. The details work great on this.

Yeah, how'd you do the metal parts?

Awesome work!

I'd absolutely take the head, maybe we could work out a trade or something. I have some decals laying around, I'll look and see what I have and send you a list, maybe you want something. :)

Sounds cool to me! I can always use more decals, especially yours. Send me a PM and we can totally work it out.  :-)

Large! I love it, man! The details on this are really quite impressive. I wasn't aware of this particular vehicle in the Gundam world! Go Feddies!

Seriously though. Awesome work as per usual!

Wow! This looks really good, man! I'm loving the very subtle shading on this. Gives a real nice sense of depth and richness. Markings and the cannons are dope!

Good work!  8)

Nice merger of Zeta and Z-Plus designs, it's cool.  I'm not totally sold on the color scheme just because I have a preference for more colorful stuff, but it definitely works and feels very "Sentinel-y".  I love the resin head!  Where'd you score that ancient kit??  If you feel like getting rid of the other one, I have an old 1/144 Z-Plus that I've been dreading fixing the head on...*wink wink*

Pete! Thanks, bro! Yeah, the resin heads are of course from that old school Model Graphix set from way back when. I got it from Yahoo Japan a few years ago and thought It would be cool to bash in with the HGUC Zeta. Lemme know if you still want the other Z plus head and It's yours, as I have no real intention of using it. And let's face it, we all want to see your next piece! ;)

@ Blah, dr_feelgood and rayloke; thanks so much! I know gray looks very different that the traditional Zeta we're used too, but I wanted to switch up things a little!
