I bought this awhile back.  It's a 54mm fantasy figure from Andrea miniatures.  I'm working on this now because I just want to paint a figure and not deal with building/detailing.  Plus after the SCAHMS show, i'm in a figure kinda mood..

Some progress:

Night two of painting.

Skin tone looks good. I wish the new Diablo 3 barbarian woman looked like this... great design.

Agreed. The flesh tone is looking good so far. Sculpt looks nice, but looks to have a rough texture. Probably the zoom though.

Yeah, when you look at it with the naked eye it's not so rough looking.  That's one annoying thing about photographing miniatures.. or maybe i just suck at prep work..

No, it's definitely the miniatures. I've tried to stop posting images that are too much larger than naked eye view for that same reason.

It seems to me that the camera tends to pick up textures that you can't see normally.  This happens every time I take a picture of one of my models.  The mini might naturally have a slight texture to it.  I don't know, it still looks great either way.
