It seems to me that the camera tends to pick up textures that you can't see normally.  This happens every time I take a picture of one of my models.  The mini might naturally have a slight texture to it.  I don't know, it still looks great either way.

Very nice.  You make me want to get organized.  Your work area is so clean.  I have so much clutte around my work area.  Your actual painting is so crisp, I really like it.

Man, I feel like I'm in over my head with my Kampfer model.  Compared to you I'm just playing.  I can't wait to see the final result.

I agree.  That model is so small.  I didn't think it was that size.  Nice work so far.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments and encouragement.  As far as casting goes, I learned what I know from reading and experimenting a lot.  Advance of Z book 1 has a good casting technique.  I recent found a translated version on Mecha Skunk.  http://www.mechaskunk.com/16.htm
Anyway, my WIP is moving slowly.  I want to be farther, but I am happy with my results. I’ve worked on the feet, shoulders and main engine.  Here is a wide shot of the Kampfer with the engine parts and tanks mocked up so that I could check the overall look of the model.
As always, I am open to comments.

Hey PhantomPain, I like what you are doing here.  I cant wait to see what it looks like when its completed.  Btw, what are you using for your build ups.  Is in mulliput?  Whatever it is, those rear engines look nice.

Hey everyone.  This is my first post ever.  I have recently gotten back to modeling after some time off and would like to share my WIP.  This is my first major work ever and I figured that sharing my progress would keep me on track to finishing this project.

This project is a MG Kampfer that I picked up a long time ago.  I’ve tried to finish this kit a couple of times and got distracted with other projects.  This time I'm out for blood and intend on finishing this kit in style.  I don't have much to post because I just started but here is a pic of what the model looks like in its current form and a link to my blog where I will be keeping track of my progress in detail.  Anyway thanks for reading.  Oh and I would enjoy any tips or support along the way.
