Hey Eyal,

I've been away for a very long time, and it's wonderful to see your excellent rendition of one of my all time favorite model upon my return.  I've lost most of my modeling vocabulary now, but I hope that does not diminish the applause I have for you.

When I can think of more intelligent things to say I'll come back and post about them...

The whole thing looks just the the movie, I really like the 'water" dripping.

How do you part with such labor of love and creativity?  I'm sure the owner is ecstatic about the final product.  Shipping can be tricky though, good luck with that.

At first I was going to say I like the modified AFS better, but then I saw your figure painting and now I'm torn.  I guess I like them equally!  Really amazing work, and you finish them quick too!

Persona non grata...due to jealousy

Man I still remember the Impulse 7.  I was quite upset when it went out in production and I couldn't get one.  It's quite a nifty (pointy) design, and I'm sure you'll do a great job on it.  I'll be watching.  8)

I'd never guess that the Bawoo frame is used, but after seeing it that makes so much sense.  Great work, I agree with the comments above.

I really like what you've done.  I agree that the standard combo of white-red-blue-yellow makes it a bit childish, better without the red.

At first I didn't like how the face is so "deep" inside the head, but the more I look at it the more I start to like it.  You're really doing something magical with these SD kits.  8)

I love it!  We need more frankenbuild!  Have you considered what to do with the wheel wells?  Right now it looks kind of odd.

Those Modern City Accessories are amazing and will add a lot to the dio.  I didn't know coca-cola will be around to ~0080, I'm going to buy some coca-cola stocks right investment.

I think the arm standing up does add visual appeal to the dio, have you considered breaking some fingers?  It's unlikely that they'll all be intact after all that impact...just a thought.

The radome threw me off and I thought it was a Z+, very interesting piece.

I like old school kits, and this yellow pacman has always been a favorite of mine.  One question about the weathering though:  I think the Zackrello is primarily a space unit, don't you think the weathering is a little bit on the heavy side?

I really like how you present your work, excellent photos.  Where does the streaks of light in the background come from?

Of course, the work itself is great too.  :-)

Yeah I was wondering about the base too.  Great scratch build and creative use of the G-armor (who wants that anyways?  :yucky: ).  I say your kit is better than the G-system one.

These Hasegawa Macross kits are just beautiful, they put Bandai to shame!

I'm surprised to hear this from you.  You should be modifying the Bandai sock-monkey kits to beat the Hase!

Great work as usual, and old school subject matter to boot.  The details are indeed pretty amazing on these kits.  I guess the aircraft modeling community is more picky about this sort of stuff and thus they have better technology to achieve that.  What's with the wings?  Seems like one of them is a little bit misplaced.

Figures are definitely on-topic in Foo-land.  Looks great and I'm sure Filmy can give you a couple pointers here and there, he's the figure guy.

I think the heavy weathering adds a lot to the hardboiled.  You are having quite a collection of these guys eh?

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio; a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy; he hath borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it. Here hung those lips that I have kissed I know not how oft. Where be your gibes now? (Hamlet, V.i)

Haha, back at the old-school kits again eh?  That's your "true calling"  ;)

I think the molding technology back in the days must be insufficient for some of the funky/cool baddie designs during the Z/ZZ era (or Bandai simply cut too many corners).  What comes out of those horrible kits are so far away from what they looked like on the show (or on mooks), I was really disappointed...

Of all people I know you have the passion and skills to redeem these designs in plastic form.  Is the MEGA-BOOSTER featured in the said article going to be part of this build??

Hey it's been a long long time Peter, I'm very happy to see you back and your excellent work as always.  I still take your Hazel kit out to admire once in a while, but being me, I just look at it and put it back... :embarrased:

That's pretty "mad" indeed, something like this should be donated to museums when they are done.
