Here are some update on the ankles and the electrical part:

Here's what the new joint of the ankle look with the rear piston

To facilitate the work of painting and make it dismountable, I have decided to divide the body into 5 or 6 parts: the arms, the legs and the torso. To connect the various pieces I'm using plugs from DC power in various sizes. For the moment I finished the connecting of the legs and torso:

It is still a lot of work to be done, but I'll do it!
Regards, David.

Finally some update on both my projects:

I emptied the helmet by pongo and created a sort of master that permit in the future to thermoforming the visor

For remove it I had to cut part of the helmet, but this also facilitated the work for the internal sculpting. Here it is almost complete, although I think that gives a rigid idea, I think that I have to smooth further the edges:

Here is the "para-nose" always done in milliput, and an overview:

And finally, how it's look on the shoulder of my prosperous friend:

Now I just glue up the two pieces, finish the padding on the front and then it's time to detail the exterior of the helmet.
Regards, David.

Cool!!! Great job!!!  :-) ^_^

Eve turned out great, so is Wall.e next on your list of projects?

Thanks clee!
Maybe in the future, now I have a lot of projects to finish   :-)

Your sand paper work is awesome, very smooth surfaces!!!
I didn't see another Eve scratchbuildt models around the net yet, maybe I'm wrong, but congratulations for the project choice and final result!

Thanks a lot Luca, means much from you!

Been following the WIP for some time, and the end result is just what I expected, superb. I'd really like to see U build the sweeping (clean obsessed) bot from Wall-E, that guy is so cute w/ his temper...

I'll do it only for you :P

Followed the work for some time, and after the problems and adjustments, is being really good. The trees are damn realistic.

Nifty. Is it from any particular movie? Flushed Away and Spongebob come to mind.

No no, it's done at random, but I have taken inspiration from those films you mentioned.

cool reminds me of den den mushi from one piece lol
love those thing they look so funny

Thanks, I was not even coming to mind, but now that I see is very similar. I think that has unconsciously taken as a base :D

When I made a helmet for one of my recent work, I prepare a ton of milliput, and it was a shame to throw it away, here's what I did:

Is hand painted with citadel colors.

There is a wip shot:

Hope you enjoy it  :-)

Back from the dead. Looking good. At first (when ako released them that is) I wasn't sure about those ako "can" bells, but have used a ton of them myself for small areas like this.
Yeah, but I intend to finish it sooner or later. They looks strange than the other, but I really like them.

More progres on the helmet, sanding, priming and again sanding:

Really like your design and scratch build skill. Keep going on that way!

Hi to all, time ago I was willing to build a tamiya motorcycle, as a kawasaki or a yamaha, but by itself it seemed to me trivial. So I decided to add a driver and here what I found (the only one to be exact) a resin kit in the rare scale 1 / 12:

Is a little pervert, but was the only decent kit that I found on that scale.
The kit is quite good casted, some detail of the suit were sanded away by the caster and the resin is a little too hard, but there aren't air bubble or other imperfection.
The only thing that I don't like is the helmet that comes with the kit, so I start to make a new one:

Here is the old one:

And there the new make with photoshop:

I started with a core made of pongo, then I covered with food foil and put in the freezer for about 20 minutes, making it hard as rock. After I covered with milliput the whole thing, so I started to realize a rought form with a x-acto blade:

Now i covered with putty and start to sanding all the surface (terrible job).
What do you think? I still have confused ideas regarding the bike, but I would make something like this:

Nice the masking technique for the wings stripe. Really like the shading on them and the overall colors!

Fantastic Work. It's absolutely better then the original banpresto kit.

I really like the design of this series of mecha, they remind me the vanship of last exile. Beautiful color scheme!!

Thanks  :-)

@Sticky Fingers:
I want to see it!!

Hmm, it's quite difficult, because the head is full of electric wires and other components (I'll shoot a photo of it), so it's a miracle that I was able to but a single pair of LEDs   :D

I really like it. Now It looks like a G-system head  :-). Wait to see the scratch builded colar!

That's a very huge project, looking good so far. You will add roughness to the branches of the tree, or leave them plain?

Thanks so much Luca  :-)

@ Fichten:
No, I did not because it's a gift for my girlfriend, and that is quite sensitive to the electrical part (I have put too many unnecessary components in the head and they break down to a minimum movement). For the fingers you are right, past a wet sanding would have been better, the fault of the enamels.
