Fooly Cooly Canti Figures Complete!

Well, these guys were a ton of fun to do, except the 18 hands.  I painted, stripped and re-painted the hands 4 times to get them where I was satisfied.  These were a commission I started way back in February right after I finished the Xeku Zwei.  I would have had them done months ago but I had to move in April.  So here we are, 2 weeks after getting my work are settled.   

These were are original from a company called Funny Bunny and were a one time offer about 3 years ago at an event in Japan.  They are very rare but I have seen similar kits that lead me to believe that re-casts are available for about $200.00 each.

These are completely posable and stand pretty easy without a stand. 

All colors are Plamo Colors with the exception of some Alclad and Alclad Flat Klear.

Well almost done,  I was wrapping up my photos when one of the legs fell on my garage floor and this happened:


Now I get to repaint the lower left leg of the right one.  Oh well!!!

Nice work dude! The paintjob looks really clean and smooth (sans garage floor! ) and the colours are really vibrant, they look like bought figures.

Sucks about the knee, but the figures are looking really good. I especially like the leather bomber and cloak stuff. Good work :)

Yeah I was pissed when the knee got F**** up but it will be an easy fix.  The trick will be matching the red to the rest of the kit.
