1/1200 GAW Assault Carrier

I just finished this kit last sat for a gathering. Not much works have been done on the kit except scribing new panel lines and adding magnet to float the kit on the levitation base.  Some areas are not nicely done due to time so hope you guys still enjoy viewing my work this time.

Nice work!  I always like to see Ships make it into the rotation (I'll be working on an Albion later this year)!  Very neat and clean paint job too, really good work on this!

Describe how you went about making the magnet base and how secure it is. That's an incredible idea I'd like to implement in a Zeong. Great work overall.

to walker: there isn't any trick here, I just bought the magnetic levitation base with a floating globe. throw the globe and find a neew magnet with the same magnetic force as the base. Then put the magnet inside the kit balance point.... that's it!

The electro magnetic field generated from the base will lock the magent (or the kit) at the center of the base.

I have tired on 1/72 F-16 before as well.

Very cool! Are those aftermarket parts on the thrusters? Also, how did you do the demarcation in the camouflage? It looks like the same pattern you see on the side of great white sharks and I thought some day I'd like to do that on a Zeon amphibious suit.

I used the blu tack to create the camouflage. It's easy to control the pattern you want. by the way, nice to meet you in person back in dec!

Magnetic levitation is just so awesome!

Oh man this is so cool!!! From now on all my airplane models will have a magnet inside   No more fiddling with wires.
