From Kallamity.com another really enjoyable model.
The casting is good and details abundant, even on soles!  ^_^
I choose to add some Option Parts anyhow  :sarcasm:

The model is posable but it isn't an action figure ;)

I'm not a big fan of this mechadesign but it was love at the first sight

10 cm tall, it should be in 1/200 scale but in my opinion 1/144 scale is more adequate (consider the little figure in the jpg is from 1/144 scale Saturn V kit)

Hope to start painting during the weekend.

Bye ^^

I just saw this kit this morning while cruising through Z's site. Gorgeous looking casting. I like the platform he's on. It looks plenty big for 1/144.

Gun looks a little big for the size of the suit though.  :meh:
I wonder about the guy that can sit through a David Lynch movie and say, "I saw that coming."

Kinda Steampunk, that base! Cool! Are you going to go with the grey camo-paintjob?

My Bower shipped this morning, I can't wait to get a hold of this thing. Luca is a genius!

I'm blown away by the scale, I didn't think it was actually that tall. Is the 1:144 scale pilot 10mm or 12mm?

Ha! Typical for a Ma.Kker  note you use the term "suit" instead of "mecha"

The model comes with a machine gun, two missile boxes and a big bazooka, too.. quite over powered
I choose the BFG because I was so lazy to scratchbuild something different  :embarrased:

I will try a baby blue with some white and a lot of gun metal on mechanics

The figure is 12mm tall

Nice photo and beautiful looking model, I was wondering what Luca has been up to lately. After checking out the photos on Kallamity.com, I do recognize some of the parts from other kits. But still, the model looks great! Great work so far Francesco.

Hehehe... Yeah, I recognize the bazooka, and the head looks kind of familiar. But it does not matter, the Bower looks great none the less.

Ok to clarify :-)
The Bazooka is the only part in which I've used parts, I made weapons after the whole mecha and I've decided to use 1/144 Zaku Bazooka, but it's all modified and lengthened .
The rest is all scratchbuildt in Plasticard, Styrene and Milliput. The head is 100% fullscratchbuildt.
Thanks!
Luca

It was fun and quite simple to paint although it is a quite little model

Thank you for viewing ^^

Absolute coolness, now I like the design much better, the paint makes it look better I think.
Great choice of colors. The light weathering is very nice and fits the model well since it's more gundamy.

that's great, really like this and here I was pestering Francesco to show my something more "miniature style". Cool model and I love the paint scheme. These ever so slightly westernised mecha are the business aren't they. Cut down a little on the flashy side but still graceful and athletic, it's a good look. Almost a Heavy Gear look but still Super Luca. Really cool.

The greens fading to blues and the punchy and eye catching base contrast is great.

Streakiness is very good on such a smallish model for the scale depicted, like it very much indeedy. The use of extreme highlights, both light and dark is really cool.

Studying pics now, you have some style and skills FB. ;)

I'm glad you like it  ^_^

@Lin.K --> I don't use green at all on the mecha, probably you have some monitor calibration problem?!  ???

I think I'm the first to complete&paint a "Bower" all over the World!  :number1

Bye :-)

You gave me inspiration to paint mine.
Thanks for finishing

Thanks for finishing

It was my pleasure.
Next time we meet, my friend, I would buy another one and paint it sand: I would like to try a little "in action" pose with the small machine gun..  ;)
