Great job so far..  ^_^

Ughhh... I am sorry to hear that you had so many problems  :(

But it looks like you solved the problems with the molds.

I am looking forward to seeing the finished model.  :-)

Model Talk / Re: Gundam Resin kits help needed
« on: April 10, 2011, 01:50:46 PM »
The thing to keep in mind with resin kits is that there is a big difference in the quality of the resin used in many legit vs bootleg kits. A very high quality Japanese or Korean resin kit for the most part use good quality resin that has a very weak odor, compared to many bootleg kits that use cheap resin which has a very strong odor to it. I compare it to opening a tank of gasoline inside of your home, another thing to consider is that with a bootleg kit you get lots of warped parts.

I try to buy my kits from a legit source if possible, but there are times when you have no choice but to buy a bootleg because the original is no-longer being made.

Nice diorama, I like the way you weathered the arm. The diorama really does tell a excellent story, great job!  8)

Wow, I really do feel sorry for the Zeon Pilot, the Zeon mobile suits in the attack force were underwater mobile suits. I hope she did not get left behind...  :ninja:

 8) Great Job Mike... Yes, the tutorials are awesome!  :D

Just curious Matt...  :meh:

How much money did you save by buying direct from their retail store?  ^_^

Hi Matt, Great job so far...  :-)

I like the way you painted the metallics for the cockpit, are you going to weather the cockpit and the supporting structures? :meh2:

Personally, all of the gloss and shinny metallic colors give the cockpit capsule and it's supporting structure a Rolex watch feel to it.  ^_^

Keep up the great work...  8)

Yes, you can create your own transparent colors with future, the idea was discussed on this thread.

I have not tried using food coloring, but your results will vary depending on what you decide to use.

??? For me, the G-System Kshatriya is out of my price range, at $649 it is a large chuck of change for a 1/72 kit even if I had the money. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice looking kit, but I not going to pony up that much money right now.

They never responded to my pre-order all the way back in the spring of last year, so I am going have to pass.

Impressive  :-)

That's a lot of resin, so how much paint will it take to cover this thing?
