The thing to keep in mind with resin kits is that there is a big difference in the quality of the resin used in many legit vs bootleg kits. A very high quality Japanese or Korean resin kit for the most part use good quality resin that has a very weak odor, compared to many bootleg kits that use cheap resin which has a very strong odor to it. I compare it to opening a tank of gasoline inside of your home, another thing to consider is that with a bootleg kit you get lots of warped parts.

I try to buy my kits from a legit source if possible, but there are times when you have no choice but to buy a bootleg because the original is no-longer being made.

Nice diorama, I like the way you weathered the arm. The diorama really does tell a excellent story, great job! 

Wow, I really do feel sorry for the Zeon Pilot, the Zeon mobile suits in the attack force were underwater mobile suits. I hope she did not get left behind...

Hi Matt, Great job so far... 

I like the way you painted the metallics for the cockpit, are you going to weather the cockpit and the supporting structures? 

Personally, all of the gloss and shinny metallic colors give the cockpit capsule and it's supporting structure a Rolex watch feel to it. 

Keep up the great work...

Yes, you can create your own transparent colors with future, the idea was discussed on this thread.

I have not tried using food coloring, but your results will vary depending on what you decide to use.

  For me, the G-System Kshatriya is out of my price range, at $649 it is a large chuck of change for a 1/72 kit even if I had the money. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice looking kit, but I not going to pony up that much money right now.

They never responded to my pre-order all the way back in the spring of last year, so I am going have to pass.
