Everything about this is awesome. Mike Jensen is one of my favorite 3D artists and this does his work justice. Really like the color choices, tones, and break up. Inspiring.

Yes. Lots of seams, slightly brittle. A lot of koto kits are worse though, and I don't mind building those either.
I don't find it that brittle though. I only get it posed up and lock it down there though.

Use a "plotter". If you don't buy one ( they aren't always cheap ) you can get stencils done for you at certain places. It's basically the same as cutting it yourself except it can get crazy accurate and tiny due to the machine.

I would probably just use Samuel Decal and get custom ones made if it doesn't need to be painted.
