Siiiiigh.. Modeling takes a fair bit of time, sad to say this is all I've managed to complete since my Sinanju a few months back. Stupid full time employment...
Had this knocking around from when I was 18 or so, and decided to repair it and give it a bit of paint. (I also have a Strike Rouge and a Freedom in similar condition somewhere.)
Anyhoo, this was a great model to do (Much much simpler than the Sinanju), that is until I got to the wings... Those rubber tips are awful, you can't sand them easily and the paint cracks if you accidentally bend them (luckily that only happened once). Also, I don't know how, but the paint went all bobbly on the wings prompting lots of sanding and frustration.
I shouldn't have used a yellow light in the photos, and I think a black background would have looked better. Might do a re-shoot. What does everyone think?
My philosiphy (gained from this forum, actually) is to try something new with each new model. This model I did the following for the first time: Masking, Scratch Building (Sword), Waterslides (not worth mentioning, I know!), Panel Lining and a custom colour scheme.
Thanksssss for looking. Oh, and again, sorry for the boring pose. Next one will be dynamic, promise.
