\"\"Since
\nI wasn’t using my Gelgoog shield for my Gelgoog and had a
\nbunch of MG Zaku weapons lying around, I decided to make a
\nZeon-Use GM out of one of my $5 MG GMs from Amazon’s legendary
\nsale. I’ll be doing the scheme up in green with yellow decals
\nand highlights. I’ll also be detailing up this piece with
\nlots of aluminum and option parts.<\/p>\n

First up is the weapons done up
\nin the “Jeep”
\nstyle<\/a>. I’m beginning to love my electric drill
\nfor polishing crappy aluminum tubing into high-polished
\neye-catching upgrades. I use very fine steel wool,
\nthen a make-up wedge “borrowed” from
\nmy wife. You can see below the difference between
\nthe polished and unpolished pieces.<\/p>\n

For the MMP-80 I removed the baller
\nand the round “back” of the barrel with
\nmy scribing saws. I then drilled out the holes
\nto make the barrel one piece that slides all the
\nway through. Smaller aluminm details were added
\nafterwards.<\/p>\n

For the 280mm Bazooka, I have been
\nmaking it seperatable using more telescoping pieces
\nof polished aluminum tubing. More on this later
\nas I’ve gotten further with inserts.<\/p>\n

\nIn-progress<\/p>\n

Here’s some more progress on the
\nZGM. I decided to add 2 more thrusters to the
\nbackpack. I used them from another GM kit that
\nwon’t be needing them. I painted them with Alclad
\nPolished Aluminum and painted the insides with
\nTamiya Clear Orange. The clear orange actually
\nlooks a little golden which is cool. To attach
\nthem I mounted a ring magnet onto each side of
\nthe backpack internals. Then I glued steel bearings
\nto each of the 4 bells. An extra magnet attaches
\nthe lower bells to the top. The feet bells are
\nsmall Wave option parts painted the same way and
\ninserted into holes I drilled in the feet. For
\nthe face, I painted the inside with chrome and
\nthe outside clear part with Clear Orange.<\/p>\n
