\n& Initial Build<\/p>\n

\nthe past year I’ve seen several SAFS customized
\nto be “Fat”. variations. I suppose the
\noccupant is overweight, but the added bulk could
\nbe for some other purpose. I just thought it looked
\npretty cool and since there’s no conversion kit
\nthat I can find I’m making my own. I have a diorama
\nidea planned for this, but for now, that will
\nbe a surprise. It’s gonna be humerous and I think
\nit’ll be funnier if I don’t give it all away at
\nonce. There will be clues however so pay attention.

So first things first, onto the
\nbuild. I started out by building the body of the
\nnormal 1\/20 scale Nitto SAFS. Next I took a plastic
\nEaster Egg and cut a portion of it off so that
\nit would fit onto the body. I filled the egg with
\nBondo and held it to the body till cured. I mixed
\nit ‘hot’ so that took about 5 minutes. After that
\nI began adding bulk with Magic Sculpt, Aves Apoxy
\nSculpt and more Bondo.<\/p>\n

After all the bulk was added I used
\nmy dremel to rough sand it and hollow it out better
\nand then rough sandpaper to clean up the dremeling.
\nHere’s some shots of it after some dark gray duplicolor
\nprimer has been applied. I have a lot of air-holes
\nto fill from the bondo and this lets me see everywhere
\nI need to add\/take away putty to make it nice
\nand smooth.<\/p>\n

10.20.2005 \u00c2\u00bb Almost
\nDone With The Body Mods<\/p>\n

I’m just about done with the body
\nmod. Actually, I have been for days but haven’t
\nhad a chance to do the next-to-the-last primer
\ncoat to check for errors. I just need to fill
\na few pin-holes that were formed when mixing the
\nbondo and a few minor divets and I’m all done
\nbuilding the body. Here’s some pics. You can see
\nthat the underside is pretty hollow to allow for
\nthe legs. I even made an indentation for where
\nto add the back armor flap if desired.<\/p>\n

So I woulda called it german for
\nLard Ass, but that translates to Schweinefettesel
\nwhich when translated back to english says Pig
\nfat Donkey<\/p>\n\n\n
