Questions about custom parts
« on: February 13, 2006, 06:23:03 PM »
I was looking at the Strike, and I was wondering about a few things.

What is styrene, and where can I purchase it? How much does it usually run?

Also, what are BWS and ReGZ?

Are these questions aimed at me or the forum in general? At any rate, you will find that some simple searching will net you your answers.

Naw. Just in general. I mentioned the strike because that's where I saw the abreviations.

Anyway, where are you from? It doesn't say in your profile. Depending on where you are you can get various brands of styrene. In the US, most local hobby shops carry Evergreen and Plastruct. (google them) You can also get Tamiya's pla-plate, strips or whatever. I've just used the Evergreen and a few shapes of plastruct. Both are nice to work with.

I'm in AZ, near Pheonix. Shouldn't be very hard to get. I am fortunate enough to have a micheals 3 miles away, and 2 other nameless hobby shops 2 miles in the opposite direction. Thanks for the recomendations ^^.
