Thanks, don't worry, I post so much update there's not much to comment each time
The kit is almost primed, I decided not to add the panzerfausts because the holding system is uber crappy and it's a bit much already with the (way too) big shield and the canon.
I'm hoping to start painting pretty soon.

Started to paint:
The color isn't quite right on this picture, it's less orange. I'll try to take pictures on daylight.

That's one amazing scratch-built gun. But the clip and the shape of it just makes me remember the 180mm cannon for the RX-79(G). Meh who cares about it. And I would have to agree that no belt-fed is the best
And... I'm guessing this isn't attached to the backpack like the ZAKU Warrior?

Thanks!
I still have to repaint some part with that red and the rest of the "red" part will be done with the Flat Red (out of the bottle). I bought some Navy Black for the inside of the red parts and maybe the torso and borders of the shoulders, not sure yet. There might be some flat black instead.

The painting process is nearly done. right now, I'm letting the parts cure (damn way-too-fragile Tamiya paint).
I snapped the canon on:
Still got to paint yellow stripes on the barrel (plus wash and decals of course).
More pics of the Dom to come soon :)

Good idea on the white barrel, nice change from the usual dark color. Yellow stripes too? I can see it's going to be a nice paint scheme.

Thanks. The color scheme of the gun is a mix of several inspirations:
-The G-Sys GD:

The masking of the inside of the skirt went very smoothly:
Next is mass-glossing to seal it all

Whoa! i like the stripes! the white ones, yellow ones... One thing, the skinny strips of styrene on the inside of the giate shied looks abit warped.. but i guess we won't be able to see it after it assembled?

Yes, you're right, they are warped. I never noticed it before.
I sprayed a coat of Future on all the parts. Amazing stuff when you don't mess up like I did on my Marasai T_T
By the way I'll try to spray some on the Marasai to see if it do any good to the "frosting issue"... I'd love to be able to post pics of it I wouldn't be ashamed of.
