That's a GM on steriods. I like!! I like!!
The elbow mod is pretty interesting, much better than the original one. Have you decided on the paint scheme? I for some reason thinks that the primer grey looks really good.

Thanks guys!
Identity_Chrisis: I just glued those little pieces of styrene inside the tube with Tamiya's Extra Thin Cement (my fav glue in the whole wide world
), and used a Pretty simple, really.
Major: thinking of the original orange/grey.
I added some length on the barrel:

Sweet Lady Freedom! Thats an awesome GM you've got there!
I really like what you're doing with the gun. That long barrel looks really nice (and the details on the grenade launcher aren't half bad either!)

Did a little work on the rifle. Not done but getting there. Once I'm done with the gun, the kit should be basically finished, not planning on giving him a shield, it's already heavy enough. I'm getting tired of working on it, I think...it's been more than a year since I started...

Will you be modifying the head to look either like the GM III or the Novel GM III? Seems like that's the only major thing you haven't modded.
Good stuff. Highly inspiring!

Actually the head has a few mods: I added 2mm in length, the antenna has been replaced by a metal rod, and put some details on the vents.
Nothing major, that's true, but I really like the GMc's head, pretty menacing for a GM. My goal is obviously not to stick to the GMIII Nouvel anymore

I totally agree! The GM custom has one of the most beautiful head design of the entire GM-line. Sleek and not bulbous like that of the GM III or the Novel GM III.

It's alive... ALIIIIVE!!!!
Mods look awesome! I'm tryong to figure out if the lighter gray is paint or primer. I'm confused because the ankle internals are that color...
Anyway, I should shut up, since you're not done yet. Hope to see it in the gallery soon!

Thanks guys!
Foo: It was alright. The masking was annoying but I would probably have screwed it up with handpainting ...
Funaka: the light gray is XF-20 Medium Grey. Kinda looks like primer but not exactly. More brownish than primer.

Ugh, got some issues on the shoulder pods... paint chips from masking tape. Gotta redo one of them. Hopefully I'll have enough of that salmon red cause I'm not sure I could do the same one again...
Another problem will be to strip the paint. I have a product for it but never used it before. I have to be careful not to damage the part. I
really
don't want to have to build another pod.
This is frustrating, I was hoping to be done by the end of the week... :-/

Got a pic of the chips?
For the red, I meant how was the color? Good? Was the mix what you wanted?
