Anyone have done that before?

Or do Ihave to buy another primer for resin? for e.g. Mr.Resin Primer....  :?

I prime all my resin kits with some variant of Mr Surfacer... 500/1000/1200.  So the short answer is yes.  Alot of people use Mr Surfacer to prime resin.

As a side note, if you do not already do this:  Soak the resin pieces in some industrial strength cleaner or degreaser for a day or so.  Then using gloves, scrub them with an old toothbrush, dish soap and warm water.  This should help ensure that you remove any residual mold release.
