Well,
It's finally done. For me, this was a rather quick build. I was awaiting final weathering until the base was complete so I didn't have to touch it with my greasy mitts. I've included a few images because I won't be able to add this to my web gallery for a couple of days.

Yes, the jerry can was scratch built, and no I didn't make any extras. bwahaahaa.
There's a boo boo in these images that I didn't notice until after the photo shoot and now the lights are packed away, so tough luck. If you notice it, PM me, because I'd like to see how many people notice it.
If you can unlock the secret code in my naming convention, you can find further images. Hint, it goes up to 17, but there is no 16.

Looks fantastic. Like I told you before, I really like the warm/cool color combination in the camo. The instruments look really nice but maybe a little clean in comparison to the rest. The base looks great too!
I can't find an error in the pics... at leanst not a readily noticible one. Any hints?

Hmmm, my response from yesterday is missing.
I thought it was more obvious, but I guess not. A little hose came loose from the leg and is just hanging in space. I didn't notice it until too late. I thought it was horrible, so I chose my photos to not display that side much.
Well, here are the remainder of the images on my page fo the
sPKA Greif
Damn you Foo, you're right about the gauges.

Hey, I wouldn't worry too much about the gauges. If that' the only complaint then you should be proud as heck. Really a fantastic piece you did. Maybe they
just
cleaned the gauges... it does appear to be under maintenance afterall.
I still can't find the hose though!

What hose? I can't find it either.
Honestly, I've never spent so much time trying to pick out some flaw from a model, staring so long at the screen, and come up with nothing. That speaks for the quality of your work. :)
That cloth hanging from the engine compartment is a very nice touch, what material is it?

Thanks Major.
The cloth on the engine and the cloth on the ground is lead foil painted with acrylics and weathered with oils for the grease spots.
The thing is suppose to look abandoned but I don't know if that entirely came across.
The guy ran out of gas, and then ran out of booze and you can't tow a
walker

Lead foil eh? Good choice but I have no idea they come in that thin...I was tinkering with thick ones at my last job dealing with X-ray machines. Remember to wash hands thoroughly though, lead poisoning just found itself in the rank of potential hazards of modelling, along with the normal paint thinner and putties
That's a nice funny dio background. I guess if you ran out of both fuel and booze then there's really no point in hanging around haha...

Lead foil eh?
I believe he means the stuff that comes from the wine labels. I doubt that's real lead. :? At least I hope not. Since I don't drink some of the IPMS guys have been hooking me up with it. Nice stuff to work with.
