Great work Mike! I love the base, its simple yet with lots of detail, really like the corrigated iron with the bullet holes, and of course the kastor itself looks dynamite  Smiley

Another great piece Mike.  The one crit I have is that the colors over all are a little to mentioned.  Maybe that's what you were going for but a few pops of color here there would be nice, even if they were very muted. 

Other than that I love the whole scene.

Thanks. Yeah, the yellows and blues didn't pop as much as I'd planned after the weathering. I suppose that's realism, but some pops def. would be cool.

Thanks. Poured a thin layer mix of plaster and fine ballast onto a taped plank of plywood. THen sanded and carved. "Painted" with AK-Interactive washes and such via airbrush.

It really is an exquisite piece.  Zampriolo's stuff is reminiscent of nothing else which is so cool.  Sure if we forced it we could find influences but I see it standing on its own.  And of course you did it justice in the best possible way.
