Hi gang,
as I’m new to this board I thought it would helpfull to post my latest work. I’m slow due to a 16 mnth boy. But nontheless I manage to come to my silent place and craft something nonvirtual...

I’m a big fan of Kow Yokoyama’s Maschinen Krieger and always wanted to know, how a AG Unit inside (that Ping Pong Balls underneath the Falke and other builts).

We had a discussion about that topic over at BK’s Ma.K. board about it and here's my current interpretation of that topic:

A friend milled some aluminium rings form e and I started to detail them:

I also detailed the inner side and gave it a quick grey wash to see, how it works:

Thanks man!
The inner side is just a bunch of option parts. I started adding them symmetricaly - but after a while I got lazy and thought: Nobody will ever see this. So I just glued the bits together. I'm pretty happy with how it worked out :)

AWESOME! Clever interpretation!
I've never seen something like that!

Hey Luca,
You may know, your great WIP shots encouraged me to scratch stuff - glad you like what I did here. In fact some inspiration came from the gateway in 'Event Horizont' - if you don't know that film, you should whatch it for sure :)

Cheers,

Definitely see the influence from Event Horizon. I also see a bit of the arc reactor from Iron Man in it, myself :)

Looking good!

Thanks Hunter Rose!
I'm after a FireFly Unit - not the Falke.
Sadly I started with a minor too wide PPB to add it into the stock Falke Antigrav Units. But stay tuned - there may be a smaller update Wink

This thing is supposed to be in a testcenter. Tonight I threw some casts I made together and built something what is supposed to be a engine running stationary the AG Unit.

This is awesome! I'm loving every aspect of this. The inner workings of a anti grav unit is brilliant. Its a shame they dont have something like this in kit form for the folks who want to pop their falke etc into a workshop dio, after all, they have a work crew. Keep the updates flowing, Im looking forward to seeing more of this.

Appreciate your feedback baphomet!
Well - maybe there'll be help for people wanting to upgrade their Falkes with this... ;D

I finished a second engine and will now start painting...

I love how much stuff is going on on the engines. It really gives it a mechanical engine feel. Now I want to put engines in everything I build.

Those are looking excellent. I love the different diameters of piping, and what looks like a toothpaste tube cap :)
