Hey guys, long time no speak...

What kinds and colors of paint do you all use for blocking light in illuminated parts (e.g. Gundam heads)? I've tried various kinds of silver, black, and gray paints, but there's still always light leaks. Maybe I just need to put more on...

Use a layer of black and a layer of silver on top. It will bounce the light around inside and totally stop light bleeding.
I used it here http://fichtenfoo.net/forum/index.php?topic=6121.20 and it worked perfect. 0 bleed through.
Any black and I used a tamiya silver. Doesn't have to be super thick, just get full coverage.
Hope that helps.
