Hi Guys! this will be my resurrection post of some sort, it really has been a long time since my last post (i think it was the AFS dio i made).

This will be the thread for my current build the F.A.T.S.O, a walker type mech in 1/20 scale to be eventually produce as a resin kit. (hopefully the feedback is going to be good).

Me and Alex, my partner in this venture really wanted to produce our own original sculpts / kits for quite some time now and FATSO is the second one. The first one to be release hopefully by December is a 12 inch Figure Resin Kit "Helldiver ARES concept by Theo Stylianides " here is the photo link  http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb221/jmrquinsaat/INNOKITZ%20WIPZ/helldiver_ares_by_StTheo1.jpg

And here is the early Lineart for F.A.T.S.O

Done by a good friend in record time. Big shout out to Ansel Jr.. Thanks Bro!

And here ar the early WIPS of the walker project. Combination of kitbash, scratchbuilt and a little sculpting makes up 90% percent of the project. Taking inspiration from the works of Zluca (which i just saw another monster build being crafted), Fichtenfoo's masterful scratchbuilts and tons of Ma.k Builders creating stuffs from anything they find.

The main parts for the master is almost all done, except for the main weapons and detailing, which is more fun but time consuming.

Will post more updates in the coming days.

Comments and Suggestions is always welcome.
Thanks for the Visit.

@Zluca, thanks! coming from you is a great compliment. Your works are my inspirations for this build. Thank you!

Time for Updates!

Less talk this time...  Wink

Walker Legs Update:
-Still needs to bulk up the frames and add all the details like cabling, mechanical works and piston for the legs............ and the armors and hydraulic cylinders are still to be attached, this is just the framing..

Additional updates Happy Smirk

 FATSO's 4 inches Pilot.

it is still on the early stages and will need to refine more of the details and symmetry of the pilot, especially the connection of the parts. Including the rifle that will be part of the cockpit area.

Man, this is cool! So, do you make the line art before starting construction or vice versa?

Hi Guys! Sorry for the late reply, i was busy with alot of things and this is one of them besides my regular work.

@reverend11 thanks for the comment sir, i will finish this one for sure. Wink

@joewhite.
Good question sir, i usually do sketches first for the initial shapes and then build and progress from there, the lineart then the build itself.

here is the small Update:

I got to prime the big pieces, now that i can see all the pieces without the contrasting colors and scratchbuilt parts i can continue to build up details armors as per my concept.

Dude! You and zLuca are killing me! You guy's work is so inspirational!!!! I wish I had the time to scratch-build at the moment! And thanks for answering the line art question! Man, aside from wanting a copy of this build, I'd also like a poster if possible! Very cool!
