Just finished this the other day along with my Shinlong.  I used the new PlamoColor brand paints.  They spray very smooth and are completely compatible with Mr. Color thinners and you can even combined the 2 brand of paints to get custom mixes.  I would highly recommend giving them a shot.  The decals are from Samuel.  There is a 3rd large Decal for the center of the wings but I destroyed mine while trying to apply it.  I love Samuel Decals for there design and because they are so thin.  Unfortunately with them being so thin they are very fragile which makes them more difficult to work with than Bandai decals.

Looks like  will be using the PlamoColor paint a lot.  They are a lot cheaper than Mr. Color, you get 60ml of paint in one bottle and the fact you can still use Mr. Color stuff is a huge plus.

Is that light purple a custom mix?
I like mixing paints but I'm always scared of not mixing enough so I end up mixing too much and then they sit around never to be used again...

What I realy like are the black areas.  That touch of grey adds so much to the depth of the model.

Yeah, the purple is the Plamo Light Grey with a few drops of the Plamo violette.  I really don't like mixing custom colors also for the same reason.  I now pretty much how to mix now just from experience.

The black has shaded using a 50/50 mix of Mr. Color GX Black and the Plamo Dark Grey.  It does make a huge difference.

Thanks for looking.

SO good my friend, so good :)  Loving the pics too.

Love the paint job.  I noticed on the close up pic of the shoulder, the paint looks kind of rough - I had similar issues with Plamo not coming out smooth unless it was thinned perfectly.  Did you notice that too on other parts?  Once it was thinned correctly, obviously it was smooth as butter.

Thanks man.  Thats not the paint your seeing its the Flattened Future that gave it that effect.  You can't see it in person.  I really need to stop taking such close up pics because they show everything. :)

Looking pretty good! I'm not a big fan of the tribalish scythe decals on the wings, but the paint looks great. Plamo paints seems to be a great investment :)

Holy crap that looks great.
Guess that answers my paint questions.
I wouldn't mind knowing if I could mix the plamo with tamiya, but I think I'm sold on a try anyhow.
