Finally finished one piece this year! I built this out my usual repertoire of materials: PVC pipe, plastic Christmas ornaments, beads and some styrene strips. It's not supposed to be realistic: the proportions are tweaked and I thought the faucet handle on the head would be funny. The arms are articulated and the feet swivel. The hands and claws can be interchanged and are attached with magnets. Brush-painted with Tamiya acrylics--it was raining a lot and I didn't want to go outside to spray and deal with all the mosquitoes. Overall about 9" tall.

How did you construct those articulating joints (i.e. at the elbow)?

Very cool project. The paint job and weathering are really good, especially for using a brush.

That looks really cute, this is awesome :) I really like the presentation on this one. The paint job and everything looks really good. The faucet definitely works, and I like the tubes :)
Are the hands fully articulated?

Thanks, Sharkdog. The fingers do move at the hand joint; they're connected to the hand with copper wire.
