The big announcement is here! I've decided to start a garage kit production company who's focus is on original, non-licensed designs. We're known as Industria Mechanika. So far I've got several model makers lined up as well as concept artists looking to have their designs turned into cool unique kits.

First up I'd like to announce that I'm working with Ian McQue to create models based on his airship designs. I am a HUGE fan of his works and it turns out he's a big fan of mine as well. We've been working closely for a few weeks now on a never before seen airship design. More info on that soon!

I'll also be selling my steampunk kits through the Industria Mechanika online store. (Hornethopter reservations will of course be first served) More announcements to come so check out the IM fan page!

Check out the site here: http://www.industriamechanika.com

This sounds like a fantastic idea and the website looks shiny. Any chance we can buy bits & bobs from your company to use in the creation of our own commercial products? I'm in early development of super robots for Kaiju Kaos and I'm going to need items to trick out my sculpts.

Good luck!!

Thanks. No, we're not a parts company like MechaSkunk so we couldn't help there. We'll be producing and selling full original kits in a wide variety of genres. What we do is work with concept artists and modelers to put their cool, original designs into kit form for sale in the Industria Mechanika store. Basically what I already do for my own releases, but expanding on that to provide the service to others. Production, boxing, graphic design, sales, and shipping.

Thanks!

I just announced that we'll be working with Adrian Smith (illustrator, concept artist for Games Workshop) to create some cool large-scale figure kits. Woo!

Thanks! The sketches I've gotten from Adrian already are nothing short of amazing. I gave him a vague idea I had (since he wasn't sure what to start with) and he's turned it onto something far greater than I ever imagined. Can't wait to show you guys!

Did you mean to say "non-licensed designs?" Non-copyrighted designs means that anyone would be able to copy your designs without needing your permition or paying you.

I visited the site last week via a facebook like I noticed the design was very close to fichtenfoo.net but didn't realized it was your own project before i read your home page here.
That's a very good idea and and exiting experience. Good luck.

Thanks! That was the goal from the start. People were speculating all robots or all steampunk, but really, I want it to be any genre as long as it's cool and original.
