Did I mention random extra goodies here or was that just on the facebook page? Random kits may have a Hornethopter logo plaque or FF robot swag. Random as in I don't have enough to go around so my kids will put them in random boxes before I seal them. Woo!

Will the logo plaques have the correct name spelling?  Wink

Mine arrived in the mail today; can't wait for the weekend so I can get started! Below is a little mini review.

The kit is top notch it's going to be the most intricate resin kit I've done by far. Everything looks awesome, there's going to be some clean up mostly with the legs but nothing unexpected with resin. Theres minimal resin blobs that obscure detail and I can count the number of air bubbles in the entire kit with one hand.

There was also a couple of extras in the kit, I got a little plaque of the three fichtenfoo logo bots and the instructions were printed and folded like an old time letter complete with a wax seal; that was a nice touch.

All and all, I love this kit. I'm not sure if i'm up to par on the skills side but I'll try my best to do it justice Tongue

Got mine too! Top notch work, really crisp casting, nicely packaged and the seal on the instructions is always a nice touch!

Now all I need to do is find the time to make it!

And the submersible...

Yours is going pretty far compared to the other international orders. It was in the first batch I sent out around 9/8/2011, but international can take a while. I have someone in Canada which is much closer still waiting as well. Let me know if you want the number on the customs form. It's not a perfect tracking number, but I was told it'll tell you what country the box is in at least.

Got my 2 copies yesterday (thanks to Mike for holding onto them for me for a couple weeks). I am absolutely blown away by the size of it. For some reason I was expecting slightly smaller (which I would have been fine with) and was floored when I saw the expected wing span from the PE parts. Can't wait to start mine when I get room on the workbench. Thanks again Mike  Big Grin
