Hi guys, I thought I would just run this by everyone to hear some thoughts on this -

Would it make more sense to install/apply metal detail parts after the final dull coat on a model?  I've been using metal parts for a few kits now, and usually I've been applying them before I do the final coat, but then they seem to get dull after applying the dull coat (obviously) and I'm not sure I like that.

What do you guys think?

Same.

In fact I do all of the metallic painting last too. That way I don't have to worry about getting flat coat on the metallic paints or metal parts.
