1/35 Assault Suit Leynos

Just came out today. Not much info or buzz about this kit, but I love the IPs that Plum is giving attention to lately (Darius Burst, Silpheed). Assault Suit Leynos is based off an old school side scrolling mecha shooter from the 90s (Genesis).

Hopefully I can still pick this up for a summer buy/build.

This is a fantastic kit. The sprues are FILLED with parts and everything is posable to hell and back. The joints are made of some space age semi-hard rubber which makes posing a pure joy without it showing on the outside of the model. There aren't many customization options except for different hands but should suffice for the crazy mecha-crowd out there. I'm kitbashing the hell out of it and there's a WIP-thread over in the in-progress forum were you can see what you can do with the model if you set your mind do it.

Excellent moulding and details on this. Highly recommended kit!

I'm going to have to grab one. Although for what it is, I do think it's a little overpriced. Here's hoping for Assault Suit Valken next.
