Wow, great piece Mike! I love the marine life details and the rust effects.

The wheel is stunning and the height of the sub makes the whole thing even more spectacular.

WOW!!! Mike You have out done yourself on this one.  The sub looks fantastic but I really think all the little bits of marine life are spectacular.  The coral especially.

WOW!     I knew the finished product would blow me away but this is incredible. After the Vincent build I didn't think it could get much more creative, but the bar still goes up man.The weathering is the stuff of masters.Well done.
Even your comps look better each time. Thanks for the WIP as well. Always a huge help.

This looks fantastic.

It must be really satisfying to go all the way from concept to finished piece.

The under water photoshop treatment is spot on.

Thanks everyone! Glad it's been such a hit. Happy Smirk Actually I'm probably just as impressed by my last two pieces as you guys seem to be, if not more so. Honestly last night I was questioning how I actually am able to pull this off. Seriously! My tools are relatively cheap... so not that. Probably experience and my artistic background, but we all know that doing something for a long time doesn't necessarily make one good at it. I think it's constantly challenging myself to try new things that keeps me growing. Stagnation is never good.

The coral/anemone: That was a one-off PE set that a friend produced for me as a prototype. I wanted to use it here and see how it looked and if there was any interest. I'll make another thread with a pic of the sheet to see if it's worth producing as a separate PE set. There's the corals, starfish, clam shells, the anemone...

Grail: No touching! Razz

This work is AMAZING.
I love the blue picture! Everything is WONDERFUL.
Fish surfaces are just inspiring and I really can't wait to test some copper effects!
PE parts are just perfect!

I think a model masterpiece!
Thanks for your inspirational work

Dope. Pure Dope.
Definitely the best copper finish i ever īve seen. Best weathered sub ever.
Innovative and it sprays out tons of inspiration!

Love it!

Great job Mike, I like the way you painted the metallic colors on the model.  Smiley
