UNBELIEVABLE! That is amazing! You are the Picasso of Dio's! I have one question though, what material did you use for the wallls?

No non no!!!! I'm still learning around here!!! Nothing special man!!!  :o

About the wall.... the material was somekind of polystyling thing, bought it from an artshop. :)

This is one of the greatest dios I have ever seen. DO not down play your work Erix. This dio would do great in any model comp unless the judges are straight dipwads who only like aircraft or cars... This is a perfect 10 on all points. Great job.

Er.... thanx!!
But I still got a long long way need to explore deelply in the modeling line....
In competion... everything is hard to say & think of......
I mean everything also can happen right?
There should be a lots of more talented ppl can do even much more better dio than mine.  :)

U are too kind.....

Thanx for the compliment, Master FF.....

Yeah.... I din think of doing some jungle or high ground dio cos I never try before...
Not even really know how to make a tree....
I just try my best to do what ever I can to make it become much more interesting....

Awsome work on the dio's atmosphere, the paint schemes for the GM and GunCannon look great.

As for making trees.........

Quote
If you go and look for uprooted trees or you pull woody brush or weeds you will notice in the root ball a variety of very interesting shapes. You can get some really nice trees from some plants. Knock the dirt off and rinse off the root. Set it out in the sun to dry. This will do several things, it will harden and dry the root material (roots have a higher water content), They will lighten or darken depending on the plant. As they dry in the sun the bark will stand out a little more. Raising the detail and adding to the "scale bark" effect. If necessary you can make it pop a little more simply by drybrushing the tree material.

And that battery box? I'm remembering that for future projects.

Thanx!! The battery box? It was the RX79-G back pack......  Tongue

Yup... I have one from an old MG sitting in a drawer around here somewhere--great idea.

holy moly... this is awesome. If I could make a dio like that I would die a happy man. the weathering, the details hell  just the  guncannon, it all  screams cool. You really nailed the dynamic poses with this one, it actually makes me  want to root for the feddie forces! all the nice touches like the little help me guy really completes it.

Your way to hard on your own work! if your still learning, then I must be in preschool when it comes to my moddelling ability. I find it funny how you call FF master. IMO  the student may become the master pretty quick.

Stunning..........truly stunning!

So much action in a single "snap shot".

But you really shouldn't "play down" your talent

Would you sell that . . .$200~$250 range?  [I know its worth more, I'm poor. . . ]

Damn.  Great work man. I want that in my collection room... sheesh.

You know, I know you dun mean it but its a little insulting to even quote so less even though you can't afford it. :) $200-250 doesn't even cover the kit costs. :?

Spectacular job!! This dio is just so amazing. So much details, so much action - this is just a beautiful piece on every level. If you don't win something for this work of art, then the contest has to be fixed.

Either it's fixed or they don't know jack talent!  And you erix, are one gifted mofo!  For someone who still needs to explore deep into modeling, you have a great freakin' future ahead of you.  Funny!  I could've sworn I said the same words to someone special in FFF.

Crazy Work!!! If it looks this nice from a camera I wonder how nice it will look from real life because camera always gets that picky things. Hope you win Bakac because this is one dio with customized gundams that actually looks real. Good luck!

Now that I home again I had to come back in here and say what everyone else is saying and what I've already said, again, your Diorama is truly a wonderful, amazing peice of love and art.

And I wasn't trying to insult your craftmanship when I spoke about buying it and I'm sorry if came off that way.  I couldn't buy it, and if I did my wife would get jealous.

That should be here in Japan inside the Gundam mania shop at Fujikyu Highland Park in a glass case at the entrance just where you come off the Gundam ride.  Damn, please enter that in the nexy Hobby Japan contest. Just beautiful, beautiful....

Congratulations.

Not a problem. Yours weren't too excessively large like the others so I didn't say anything. Plus they were awesome to behold. ;-)

Thanks erix. Seriously though, you can stop calling me master any time now. It's rather unnessecary and always has been. Besides, folks should be calling YOU that! And stop being so damned modest about your work. It's fantastic!

Very nice Erix.  I figured that you were putting the Guncannon and the GM together in a dio.  Nice action for the knifing of the Dom.  Amazing diorama.  Simply amazing.
