Funaka its my own scheme, I used the minmay limited edition from hasegawa as a refence and picked some aoshima car decals. The YOT is Yoichi of tomorrow, which I only learned about from the decal set, not a macross figure but some other type of manga.
Garylok the white and purple were airbrushed, not sure what you meant by washed out, I sprayed them over the white basis, and after some layers the look of the purple was a bit varied, but I liked it so stopped there. In any case I need to get more experienced with painting the non military colors, so I hope in my next model I'll manage to paint these colors better :).
