Hi dudes !

As I almsot done my Garbaldy, I decided to start my 1/60 G-System Kämpfer. Actually mtomczek and Stell-Mark Wip helped a lot. I wanted to compare my resine and plastique frame with Stell-Mark full Plastic one.
I didn't face big issue with it. OIt's pretty easy to build even if it leans to its left. I shoud fix that when the frame its completed.
Everything is well casted and but the plastic calfs. The joiction between these part and the lower leg parts is "crap". Should have been better.
What's your opinion Stell-Mark ?

Still have the arms to build. I have lot of fun so far. Hope you'll like it Smiley

Is this the same as the "NewG" Frame?
My G System "NewG" frames are plastic, and black/grey whatever color. It seems like this is resin like the 1/72 Saz (original version) frame?
Just wondering if there is a difference? I do see the joints that seem rotatable so I'm a little confused.
Looks cool anyhow. The Kampfer is always bad ass.
cheers.

It's the same one. They did an initial run with the kampfer (first to feature the frame) that were in cream colored resin. Mine is the same way, has all the same joints and locking mechanisms.

The new ones are cast in grey resin, with the joints and some areas being white plastic. They are however not all plastic.

Roger that.
Thanks. I was beginning to get confused as to where all these different G sys frames were coming from.
Cool beans.

I like the black resin frames better.  The dark color makes a whle lot easier to see mistakes, pin holes and where you have deep scratches.  I should really get back to my Sinanju having  real job sucks, no time to model. Angry

Hey Nico,

So far your frame looks great! Good Luck with your build, Kampfer is a great :)

As mtomczek said, my frame is not 100% plastic. All dark parts are resin, only white had Plastic structures (very unconformable to work with it)
Agree with you according to joints of some parts on legs, they should be better. Joints on arms are much better.

I'm sure that it will be 100% fun build! Good Luck and enjoy every moment :)

Thank you guys.
@Grail : I don't have lots of time to work. I only can work 1h30 in the evening not every day and never during the WE. Sometimes it's hard to stay concentrate on a build but the great wip on forums help to keep the motivation.

I dudes I puted the Kämpfer back on my bench. I have many armor plates issues I have to to fix. I planed to add super magnets. I did tests and it works fine but I need to modify some parts.
I faced a big problem because magnets surface is made of nickel and cyano doesn't stick on nickel. So I had to use Araldite 2 components glue but mine doesn't cure fast enough so it's quite a mess to leave the magnet in place, it always slides.
But when it's in place it works fine.
I'll post pictures as soon as possible.

As soon as possible  LOL

Here is my progression on the kit. I started with the feet. I will follow Matt technic it's very pragmatic and that works perfectly on big scale kits like that. Hope you'll like it.

Here the feet trsusters made of 3 parts one resin outter nozzle one aluminum inner nozzle and an inner finition resin part

Thx man everybody seem to like this colors I was a little bit afraid of the result but I seems to work. I didn't want to paint it like G-System did. First because I want something original and second because Painting with clear colors is a real pain on such bug pieces.
Next legs and pelvis.

Never be a fan of G-system painting type, nor metal+clear colors to make armors...... go original, go better! :)

Great work Nico!  What paints are you using?  Looks very smooth and vibrant at the same time.

I’m loving all the great resin kits being worked on here.  Hopefully I can get back onto my build.

I put this thread on my must read bookmarks so I can keep a track on this build.
