Wipeout "Beholder" the game and now.......the kit! Continued!

I hope to write in the right place ... otherwise sorry.
Introducing myself, my name is Marco and I'm living in Turin - Italy.
I'm big fan of sci-fi world, I've just discovered this forum.
So I joined.
And now the model....
Many of you will know the famous racing game Wipeout wild, racing cars aircraft suspended several feet from the ground through an anti-gravity suspension system ...... so why not make a model ??....
..... In the various series of this game have followed many types of vehicles, I wanted to add a me too, of course, is always based on Wipeout style, the color is obviously essential in this subject!
Everything is born of an old toy car for my son who drew much the center of this type of rocket car, the need to wait for the dead time between work and the other other models .... and this is born
Wipeout " Beholder "
The model just mentioned, missing a host of accessories and it is only 30% of the work, but the core idea is the least you can appreciate the final look.
The color? ... Maybe a orange shaded to white with a host of sponsors and a big number race!

Very nice. Reminds me a lot of the Auricom which automatically makes me think blue and light grey but an orange/white could work quite well, especially will those cool Designer's Republic style graphics.
Looking forward to the next round of photos.
I love the wipeout series and wanted to try to build the Pirahna from Fury hopefully sometime this winter.

COOL! I loved the old Wipeout. I'm actually playing "Wipeout HD" off and on right now! It's about 17$ to dwnld on the PS network. I have wanted to do a wipeout racer for a long time in 3D and in.. well..3D. I need to get my scratch chops up a bit before my model. I'm thinking maybe soon.
I actually really like where you're going with yours. It feels fast. Awesome project!
P.S I like your other stuff too.
Cheers.

Here I am!
After a short absence I'm back on this wonderful forum.
I went forward on the two old projects Beholder 1/35 and Twister 1/35.
In this post I explain the advances of the Beholder, which are listed below: engines, nozzles, cooling systems, mechanical parts (back), various fillings.
The model is now 80% of the final result as a master for replication, has yet to be enriched with many details (panels, rivets, other pipelines, etc..)
I'll try to keep you informed!
I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks to all for any helpful tips and critiques ... or slap!
Bye...Ciao

Looks super crisp, great job! The engines give it a more original look I think.

I was never a big fan of the games themselves.
That said, the designs were always pretty cool, and yours is right up there. I really like it! The engines look especially good, and I'm looking forward to seeing some more panels :)

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments!
I think the racing style combined with a smooth aerodynamic, but I want satisfy those who like mechanisms, gears and pipes, for them will create a pair of side pylons in "fighter version".
You can see how I proceeded to complete the reverse side, with mechanical parts,
the frame was built with Epowood, made with my new electric saw.
I also proceeded to duplicate the side pillars to edit and produce a fighter version .
stay tuned! Ciao Bye

Given the preference some friends over to have a race version is also a version fighter too .... I thought one type with side pods with multiple loads of mechanical hardware.
Obviously this will follow a series of panels on the side pod resin copies.
Ciao Bye

Hello!
I started with a mix of parts of figures, modeled on a modern suit but not too futuristic,it was not easy, scales 1 / 35 is Already quite small to Make That A Few details tell the truth ..... Also I now I see only with the enlargement of the picture!
I still feel satisfied with the result, then I will have the opportunity to offer the packagewith the pilot of the Beholder !..... news for the Cockpit? Yessss ... but I refer you to the next post!
Ciao!

Hello Natter
Really good work! Truly Beautiful! And since I am also a fan of Wipeout ...... :)
The 'only thing I would do more, better with some detail and some recessed panels, mounted the wing ... so, to personal taste!
A greeting and congratulations again.

Thanks Mifune!
Sorry for being late to your post! But I was employed by the construction molds of this model kit!
I agree with you, but many modellers have contrary opinion, prefer a smooth, streamlined version .... then free will shall leave the modeler, will added paneling with a simple scribber.
Thanks for your opinion! They are always precious opinions!

Ok, I get it!
In fact, leave the modeler free to modify the kit as he wants, I think its a 'good idea!
Thanks for the reply, and again congratulations
I wait to see a finished copy! : D
good job
