Thanks! I made it last December, but never sold the master. I decided to do this one on my own for a change.
Size: Without the fins, it's about 7.5" long and 4.5" high and 2" wide.

This is very cool, Mike. Has a sort of absinthian era/steam-punk quality. Man, really wanting one now! LOL! Do you require a deposit or anything? I might send you a pre-order here in the next few hrs. EDIT: Oh hell, request sent!

Update: The PE vendor can only fit 16 frets per sheet so I need to order 32 frets which made me decide to increase the initial run to 32 kits. (was 20) Half of those are spoken for already (not even 24 hours! Wow!) so I'm very excited and can't wait to see some build-ups!

Like wise I put my name down for a kit as well. Can't wait to build it. Can I make a request? I'd love to see a debriefing blog or forum post about the process and info about the whole indie kit making scene. For example who is your casting company, who does the PEs etc? Even though I'm not in the position to make my own kit anytime soon I do certainly entertain the idea of doing it myself in the future. Yes I know it is a lot of hard work invloved and one does it for the love of it etc.... I know all about that as I make games as profession. So looking for solid info and personal opinions etc. I guess I'm just asking for a good old fasioned knowledge share. Cheers.

The PE is easy. Paragrafix.biz. They do a lot of sci-fi conversion/upgrade PE sets. I'm in the process of using both their 1/32 Moebius Viper and 1/72 Millennium Falcon sets. Both rock.
I haven't gotten permission to post the casting company info yet so that'll have to wait. He does good work though and I've used him before so no worries there.
Everything else, boxes, label/instruction printing, bubblewrap, etc... is random. Those incidentals start to add up fast so keep that in mind and look for bulk/sales.
I only have one Australian order (initials J. T.), is that you?
