This is one of 3 conversion that I bought from AKO when he released his Blue Destiny conversions.  The parts are super sharp and the fit is perfect.  This is where I am now after off and on work over 2 weeks.  Just finished the decals and as you can see I need to fix the one on the shield.  After I applied it and used decal softener it looked like it wasn't laying very flat so I did another round of softener and I think I over did it.  Looks like it attacked the decal.  No worries as I have another one and I have not applied my Future yet.

Colors used are all Mr. Color and are as follows:
Base coat of Gloss black for pre-shade
Dark grey color is Light Sea Gull Grey
Light grey is Light Mitsubishi Grey (same grey Erix used on his Unicorn)
Blue is Bright Blue
Internals and hands Alclad Steel (my favorite for internals and such)
Red is Bright Red

Next up is Future application, panel lines, and flat coat.  I may try a wash or two or some pigments.  It is about 30 degrees out side so I will have to wait on the Future.  Also I have found out that spraying in the garage sucks.  So much dust and dirt in my paint. UGHH Angry

One question I have is can I use the MIG oils for panel lines?

Thanks for looking!!!
Matt

Looks pretty great so far! And yea, I agree that the cold weather sucks.

Typical mech anime: 13 year old boy who has never driven a car gets into the cockpit of a high tech, multi-billion dollar mobile suit and owns a ****ton of soldiers. Every single other character in the anime says " OMG WE"RE GETTING OWNED BY A KID!?!?!?!"

Thanks Matt,  Like I said in IM to you,  about 80% happy with it.  Lots of dust and dirt in the paint, although it dosn't show up as bad after my flat top coat.  I just got my 2 Hyper Beam rifles from AKO today with metal barrels to add to this.  Should have finished pics in a week or so.

I would get them in a heart beat.  Some of the best casting I have seen.  I am so stoked that Luca is using the same caster for his Iguana, it is going to be so sharp.

Just to let you know, 2 and 3 are the exact same conversion kit. I think, or is it 1 and 2?  Anyway 2 of the kit are the exact same.

Thanks Tanaboon,

The cold and wet weather here.  The worst conditions for painting.  I am able to spray my Future in the kitchen though.  The way I see it it makes the kitchen smell good and any over spray just makes the floor look better. LOL

2 and 3 are the same, 1 is the version with the GM styled head. (The one I wanted but is sold out Sad )

I saw these at Ako's shop in Hong Kong and they are super nice.

Your kit is looking really good so far, I can't wait to see it with the finishing touches done. Are you planning on keeping it fairly clean with just a panel line wash, or are you going to dirty it up and weather it?
