Got mine yesterday - on my birthday too! How's that for timing. Great design and a wonderful piece of casting (a couple of troublesome resin blocks but, hey...). I'll keep you posted!

Which ones did you find troublesome? I found that with the exception of the back of the engine and the underside of the hatch's thick "gates", neither of which is a visible portion of the model, it all went together quite easily.

The hatch, certainly, but manageable. The gates at the front of the hull had broken off with a small piece of hull (easily fixed with a little putty). Nothing that you don't get generally with resin kits and (the point I was trying to make) nothing unexpected or unsolveable. The finished product will be well worth the effort. One of the fan grill covers was bent and I emailed Mig Pro to suggest packing this more carefully (rather than loose in the box) but, again, nothing that can't be corrected by the modeller with a little experience.
It's a great vehicle, Michael, I'm delighted with it!

Awesome, glad you like it! That's too bad though that there was a few issues like the bent piece. Since I was doing the box art I didn't get a "packed" version. When mine does arrive though I'll be sure to check and see.

Oh... wow... probably. It's like 4x bigger than the one I did for Mig. I should do a side-by-side. Plus it was never meant to be cast so there's lots of undercuts and such. It'd be easier to do a new one that try to make that one castable.

Just arrived mine!! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
Ehi people, this kit is GORGEOUS!
Resin is really top-notch, highly workable and ANY bubbles at all!
I expected smaller, but the shield is huge!
I'm amazed by details, master Foo did an awesome job on this one!
Another positive point of the model is that you can display  it in fly mode, or on the ground. In fact it has 6 cool little legs under the shield.
A true BEAUTIFUL model, wasn't able to resist to start it immediately :)
My respect Michael!

z
p.s. I already see a new thread on WIP section soon!! LOL
