So tonight I started working on painting the outer armor pieces for the legs. I’ve decided to go with a multi-tone sheme with the usual shading and highlighting. I have so far mixed two tones of light gray and will be adding a final almost white gray as the third tone for the scheme.  This will of course be paired with the “blurple” color of the feet and torso areas and the red accents.

That's one sexy leg.  Love the direction your going with the armor.  What do you think of adding a splash of color somewhere similar to what you did with the 1/72 Saz?  Stipes or some other pattern.

Excellent!  I like the two-tone idea a lot.  It will create a much more realistic appearance for a Gundam class MS!

You read my mind. :)

Have a few ideas, but thinking of incorporating the same "blurple" color from the feet and chest into it somewhere. I also thought about a little splash of orange.

It would go really well with the grays and the other colors too.

The Gp03 has been progressing nicely. I have most of the right leg finished up, and have most of the left leg primed and ready for paint. Here are a few shots of the progress so far. I have to finish up the final paint and decals on the remaining leg armor, but so far it's look great together.

I haven't tried to do any real wiring yet. The only thing I've done so far was made sure that the passage ways for the wires were open enough to get them through.

I am still trying to figure out how I am going to do the wiring and still keep it in pieces to ship to you. The battery pack comes out of the right foot and is just out in the open so all of the wires need to go back to it.

I am thinking of maybe some quick releases or something in line to make it easier to take apart.   Wacko

Continuing on with the painting of the Gp03. These were the last armor pieces for the right leg. Added my usual splash of color to one armor part which will be carried on throughout the rest of the build. Photos were taken after the gloss coat, then after the panel lines and decals were finished. Final flat coat photos coming tomorrow.

Work on the Gp03 continues on, with the legs being nearly finished. While waiting for the outer armor parts for the left leg to dry, I assembled the two legs and attached them to the primed waist section to see how it was looking. Seeing it together and painted is really awesome, especially with the different tones of grays. I can't wait to get to work on the waist and torso.

I also setup the the legs next to the legs of the EX-S to show the size comparison between the two. Both are 1/35 scale, but man the EX-S is so much bigger! It really makes the Gp03 look so small.
