Wow, that’s really cool! Is it a full scratch-build or a kit?

Hoy!
I Liked the movie District 9, and that suit was very awesome
Your model looks very fine, but the pix're too blurred, hard to see the details. Beside that the model looks very well built, and fine :)
Nice introduction!
Keep up the good work!

Thank you guys!.
Thanks aerodyne yes it is a scratch build mostly a blue type of pla plate and a very thin metal for all the armour and body and some kit/toy parts used for all the greeblies on the guns.
I could post some blurry pics of the build up if you are interested.
Thank you Macal i'm am going to get a new camera soon so i will take better pics and post them at a later date.
It was a cool movie definitely one to go and see.

Oh, Yes! We're interested
People can learn much from WIP pix, so they're very useful for everyone I think
But don't be said, it's really hard to take photos from this kind of small thingies like models.
The easiest way is to put your cam into macro mode, and zoom in almost full (just optically, digital zoom is not necessary ) and make the cam stable, try to not move. The second and most important thing is the lights. You'll need two lamps one from the side, the other one from above. You must put the side light to the right place, don't take pix facing the source of the light, You won't see anything on the pix
If the pix just don't want be right You can use the flashlight of the cam, but put a white paper in front of it, so it'll diffuse the hard light, and will not burn the colors so hard...
I hope I can help a little, I have an old Nicon coolpix 4100 cam @ home, it just enough for me I think

So have you thought about selling this piece? If so how much would you want for it?
People like me would absolutely love and pay a lot to get their hands on your work.. =]
this is the best custom prawn exosuit I've ever seen. I have the first one that was sold on ebay in my living room, but that one is still not exact. Yours is pretty spot on.
