Amazing work, and it's very exciting to see how much rapid prototyping is improving, those models look slick.

This is awesome stuff, very inspired. Little bit of Miyazaki, little bit of mechas from the 50s, whole lot of creativity!

Your last project reminds me a bit of this:

It's from an anime I haven't seen, Basquash http://basquash.com/
The design you're working on looks better though.

They definitely have a Miyazaki/50's feel to them. A lot more "cast" pieces than rolled, welded, or punched. That latest project will look great, it reminds me a bit of the "twins'" ice-cream truck.

i can't deny the 50's influence (that 's even the basic idea of the whole thing) but i never thought about Miyazaki ,i like his work of course but when i was making the robots i was more thinking about Wally Wood ,Jack Kirby ect... everybody tell me it's has a bit of influence from Miyazaki but i didn't plan it, i guess the guy had more impact on me than i thought .
the last robot is quite "old" the guy made it 3 or 4 years ago ,he got the job because of this model .

I definitely in for one! Smiley
I love "3-wheel one", also the others, but that's the most original and impressive IMO

Really nice, BTW, I suggest you check out a series called Freedom by Katsuhiro Otomo, your designs bear a lot in common with his, that's a huge compliment, BTW.  Happy Smirk

Wow, that's huge news! I can't wait to see it--where will you sell it?

edit: also loved Tekkon Kinkreet, amazing style... I've been tempted to be the artbooks on more than one occasion.
