I'm tentatively in, I just need to find a vespa scooter model kit.  I'm going for an art-deco 50's/60's themed mech, something with Cadillac tail fins, and a vespa based control seat.  Something between these two mechs:

Going for the bonus points. Awesome! That's what I had in mind when I included the 50's. Be sure to use boomerangs and a diner backdrop. LOL!

I'd like to join. I haven't done... well... any models in awhile. Need something to kick me into gear. Making a 50's mech is awefully tempting. I might have a few things in mind. Happy Smirk

I would like to join in the fun. I have been waiting for the excuse to construct a battle or carrier airship for a long time and it sounds like this would be the perfect opportunity to make it happen.

I don't know if this would fit but what about a reddneck mech.  I can just picture an old pickup with legs made from old wood held together by duck tape and bailing wire.  The hook on a couple of shotguns to the side.
Its a great way to keep the derned gubment off ma property.

What do yall think?

I'm in fo' sure...

My latest models are from my "Alumalloy" series.  The first (finished) is a Trench Racer called the Alumalloy Arrow.   My next is called the "Alumalloy Airstreak", and the final in the series is the "Alumalloy Aquabolt"

Land Air and Sea...two in 1/48 and one in 1/35.
All wired and plumbed with engines and full interior detail, and foil covered (what a pain, but Soooo worth it!).
Of course they are all on enviro bases...is there any other way?

I can't post pictures 'cause it breaks my MOJO, it's just one of my "things", however I will be glad to share when they are done.  I think they're beautiful.

I think I have some ideas for this GB. Been doing some research and stockpiling, gonna do a Tanker. A walking heavy steam tank, Germany's trump card in winning the WW I (in my universe, Germany did win it, hehe..  Razz) M'kay, that's for starters, hope to finish it on the deadline in between school.  Sad

I'm in.  Have a '57 Chevy kit that was my Grandpa's that I'm not really sure what to do with.  Figure it might make a good mech.  Anyone know where to get some 1/24 or 1/25 scale figures to sit in the seat?

HOY!!!

I've decided to put away all of my project and join this GB :) I found this GB is a little bit sleeping, but I've found myself very interesting in this project so I would like to build something "walkin'" :)

The Projects name is :
Sd.Kfz.188 Kampfläufer 6 Tiger...(Maybe I'll find out a cool name, somekind of tiger...)

It's based on the tiger one tank, the theory is there're a lot of tiger parts for the germans, and they used everthing they had.
It will walk on two strong and massive legs, have a massive hull, and a tiger turret with the 88mm main gun.

I'll use:
- a Tiger 1 turret (Italeri, but theres a chance that I'll scracht an otherone with a few changes)
- lathe-turned metal barrel
- scrachted interior with a little academy tiger 1 interior parts
- Eduard interior PE
- Tamiya tiger 1 wheels for the joints of the legs, to get more ww2 german looking
- lots of spare parts...
- figurines...dragon or something else :)

I hope that the model will come along clean and well, and there will be no problem.
BTW, is there any chance to prolong the deadline of the GB ?  Oops Sad

Okay... I'll push it back. It's kind of an FFF GB tradition anyway!
