How much Tamiya Acrylic does it take....?

Hey everyone, as some have seen I am new here, but determined to make great models. One question that I could not find answered ( well not exactly answered, I do not know if Alcad paint lasts similarly to acrylic, which is why I am asking ), is The model I plan to make is a 1/100 MG ( most likely Hi-Nu or F91 )to be a couple different colors ( excluding minor details, internals, etc., etc. ), abiding by the 3 parts paint, one part filler, how many 23 ml bottles would I need if for the sake of simplicity color one was 70% of the models color and color 2 was the remaining 30%. Once again I am sorry if this was already talked about, I lurked on this subject as much as I can.
EDIT - I do not know if this has any effect but I plan on airbrushing.

Alcad will last just as long if not longer than Tamiya.
A single bottle will be more than enough for an MG. Remember don't be affraid to thin your paint (70/30 ratio) or more and allow adequate drying between thin coats. Test first on a primed scrap and good luck.

You can't hand-paint Alclad anyway. Airbrush only.

If you use alclad it lasts very long more than acrylics. I own two bottles and the elder is 3 or 4 years old, the paint is still great. You should not thin alclad its already very liquid. Just set your compressor at 0.5, 0.8 bars max (sorry We don't use psi here)
Do not hesitate to thin acrylics 70/30 is a good ratio but it can depends, some jars are alredy quite liquid so it's up to your own judgment. Anyway you should paint with low pressure and thinned paint. You will save paint and get a better result.
To thin acrylics I use Tamiya thinner for lacquers is works great. Thin directly the jar you'll save thinner and get the same blending.
good luck
