Italery, Dragon, Tamiya, Wave, Academy, AFV-club.
None of them saw his one coming.

And a sneak-preview of part of their transportation-device of choice:

Man, what have I begun. :sarcasm:

Thanks for your compliments!

... reminds me of one of Francesco's 1/20 androids.
I blame him too, yes. :shifty:
The dude-with-the-helmet's head is made of two parts: the cylindrical bit is a gasmask canister, German of course, and the tan piece is part of a Bosch-light found on tanks. I filed the back of the helmet with a burr to fit over the canister.

Yeah, the periscope dude is awesome indeed. Not sure about the back-vents yet, but Once you blend them in it should be better. Keep it up!

Time for a small update. This is what I'm working on at the moment. What you see in the pics is far from finished, even far from primer-time.

The cocktail sticks are there to prevent the gunports from clogging when I start to primer the thing. That would be the the logical answer. What they're really there for is to show you which way is front  ;)

Tracks are seperate links from AFV-club. The horror! That stuff really eats time. Next time I'll choose metal workable links instead.

A quick check to see what der dudes thinks of their new high-speed recon v-hickle. They seem to ignore it. I'll take that as a compliment.

Thanks for watching, gotta go. Holes to fill, greebles to add.

I love it!  We need more frankenbuild!  Have you considered what to do with the wheel wells?  Right now it looks kind of odd.

Thanks, gents! The wheel wells, and multiple other spots, are absolutely not done yet. I try to handle each nook and cranny of this thing as a seperate build, trying to keep all things fresh, while also keeping an eye on the whole thing. That also means that the next update could be a while.

@ Linc: I thought, as long as I'm "Frankensteining" I might as well do it in style!

Hello Nico, thanks for your comment.
It is CMK's kit, reboxed by Italerie. It's not too bad, fit's okay (though not when you plan to put the body back-to-front on the chassis, like I did  :sarcasm:), but not much detail. Initially I bought it to build a small "hoverbeetle" and place it along my Gundam hovertruck.
I'm enjoying your dio-build too, by the way. (I'm a lurker...)

Now you see the featureless interior:

Now you don't:

Not quite shure how I will position them newfangled sunglasses. Up, down or somewhere in between.
Also working on pantzerizing the side windows, and detailing one of the rear (front) wheelwells. Can show pics, but it looks a mess.

Oh what the hell:
