Fantastic work Erix! Looks soo much better than the original. I wasn't quite sure how it was going to turn out during the mod process, but the finished piece is phenomenal.

Dude, that looks so kickass!! Frankly much better than the everpopular G-System version IMO.  Beautiful!  I need to go check out your in progress thread again...

Ok, so how did you deal with lighting the clear parts.  Did you strip the silver back painting and just light them that way, or...?

Thanks for the compliment.  Smiley
Nop, I din strip off the silver cos it was only a very thin layer of silver color,
the light still can through the clear part.

Whoa, a real eye candy, Erix. Got myself the Impulse 1/35 head from Banpresto, and looking at Ur work really inspired me to pull the same skit like Urs (ya, well, atleast nearly as good as Urs)  Oops

Another great work, erix. You continue to inspire me with your detailing.

Nice use of the G-Armor!  LOL

Yeah I was wondering about the base too.  Great scratch build and creative use of the G-armor (who wants that anyways?  LOL).  I say your kit is better than the G-system one.

I've been following this WIP since the beginning and am really impressed at how well this turned out.  It's made me start looking around for some of these heads to work on (the ZZ one tempts me  :) )

Well actually.... I do  Tongue  I bought one and it's sitting in my stack of "to-do".  I have always been a fan of the G-Armor, and really enjoyed especially the 0079 manga version (which looks more like the Seed Sky Grasper than anything).  I guess I'm just a fan of support units (and wish more of them would get kits - still waiting for an official 1/100 MG Hovertruck and Skygrasper and Moebius and etc etc).

The ZZ head is really nice, it's the best proportion on a ZZ head of any scale that I've seen - very authentic to the curvy original design.  It's waiting on my shelf... Wink

Wow! This is absolutely awesome. The base is such a drastic improvement, makes the whole thing so much more lively. Kinda wanna see the whole suit in that scale with that kind of detail....
