This is my Aura Batler Todvierres. I shamelessly copied most of Maestro's techniques on his Leprechaun build. It was a pretty good build for me, I really enjoyed it and I must admit I've learned a lot. The new techniques I applied with this build will be very helpful on future projects. So there, enough talk and more pics!

Really great use of different paint techniques. The horns and claws, the green wash, the unique armor paint scheme/camo all turned out nicely. You have me interested in something new here.

That's something completely different. I'm very interested to see how you got all those finishes. Do you have a WIP or a link to Maestro's techniques? There's some very fine painting effects and I'm sure that's a pretty small model.

Nice job. You took a funky design that looked like a mech with some bug parts sticking out of it and instead made it ALL look organic like some kind of really cool alien monster. Call the Space Marines!

That is nice! I like to see an "organic" mecha being made, a change from the usual robots, this can stand out!  Big Grin

Looks fabulous. Not even Guinness could ruin that kit.

Mind going in-depth on the painting techniques you used? I'm curious, I've never seen a kit look anything like that. It's very different from what you normally see, yet awesome at the same time.

walker: thanks man! I appreciate it! Happy Smirk

well for the painting, i just pre-shaded the kit. the "veins" are handbrushed using enamels. then I apply some yellow wash on the rough parts which i textured using a router. Smiley
