Not to complicate things, but what about Beertax's Hazels? I remembered them when I saw them in my Hazel research/inspiration folder and wondered if they were supposed to be in the contest.

good point... I must have missed that one or thought it was an in-prog due to the minimal posts. There was a lot of chaff to sort though unfortunately, including my own!

It's short for "Another Ornery Zebra". It's the story of a zebra who's been mysteriously transported 500 years into the future where he finds himself to be The Last Zebra on Earth. This zebra then causes trouble throughout the solar system when it learns to pilot a giant robot (named "El Diablo"). Ultimately, though, he realizes the trouble he's causing and helps to stop a giant asteroid from crashing into a space station orbiting Europa--which he later learns contains the DNA of his species--which humanity hopes to use to develop a new zebra population on the now-terraformed moon of Titan.

At the conclusion of the film, the zebra vows to use El Diablo to defend the safety of this new zebra herd and never cause trouble again.

And Filmy, get your head out of that imitation resin cleavage and pay attention! This contest has only been around for like a year and a half or something.

It's nice to know the contest I spent ten grueling months building for amuses you. But hey, yuck it up guys, if we keep the thread going long enough, one of the judges might stumble upon it and figure out who won... LOL

Reading fichtenfoo forums during Economy 201 isn't healthy meh

That story about the Zebra made me laugh so hard the teacher turned in my direction to see what was going on ...
